holoscenery
How many miles can I see for?
I’ll never know, the tide my guide in this life of lore
Buried pages in the sand
Tell of pains of love and light’s command
The shore is replaced with her bow
The tide abounds, the sky collides and rain pours down
Shattered masts and tattered maps
I float away toward another landAnd at once I see I was not magnificent
Before the storm a tethered boat, a note I wrote
To keep the Moon and Stars afloat
A wish I made and now I wait to unharness it
And sail away in its serenityUntil that day I will wander miles and miles and miles

red sky
when apollo gives the nod he’s off
with a map, sack lunch, and the clothes on his back
by the time they read whats written on the napkin
he’ll be in a sea of foreign faces starting to gain traction
when the axle breaks
fog covers the ocean and the lights start to fade
to black then to white again, band around his wrist
too much snow on his tires and potion on his lips
He never got a grip so he let go for good
or so he thought - the sea shimmered glossy in his after thoughts
And after thought, “the salt water tasted too sweet
for me to keep sleepin on what my tongue seeks”
And start dreamin he did
About what could have been
And what should be
And what will
Bright red sky
His choice: day or night

almost famous
well, first off, everything
that’s what’s in love and music
truer words were never spoken
unless you’re finding love through itif I was a seed it made branches
game me Air and Roots, even made me Rancid, the rear view mirror doesnt lie
and neither does the road
and whatever city you end up in
our hearts call music home -
Sunday Fundaze
the day breaks at noon
and I pick up the pieces
and unfold the creases
of a forgotten full moonthe page never turned
but its prose I still read
waiting for the scene
where I get to returnto a place with a name
not a fleeting motel
to a place with no shell
not predestined wavebut t

date night
had a date with destiny tonight
she told me to call her at nine
and she’s plus one like always
droppin dank in the hallways
but like always theres a halo
and it beat the horns again
now I got a trident in my dome
constantly pickin bones
throwin em on my back
only drop off is a budda sac
but that’s the entrance and the exit
just wish that she didn’t exist
but there’d just be another one
and this would just be another pun -
beginning the end
I am on the brink of crossing over into adulthood via HP7. my glasses are on, and as the reel begins to roll and the wind hits my hair I musnt look back for fear of a moment missed. childhood’s story ends tonight, and Rowling doubtlessly inspire a final fitting journey before, one by one, we face he who needn’t be named- the man
